First Call Staffing is seeking an experience Warehouse Technician for a 1st shift position in Portland, TN!
*5:00 AM - 2:30 PM
*MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK
Essential Functions:
This position reports to the Warehouse General Manager and performs daily production responsibilities related to warehouse operations. These responsibilities include daily Re-Pack Operations; ability to differentiate between acceptable and non-acceptable parts per customer guidelines; ability to work independently and remain on task; adherence to safety policies; ensuring compliance to quality standards; developing thorough working knowledge of customer practices; retain and protect confidential materials; perform finished goods inspections; complete daily Re-Pack reports; inspect containers for accuracy; maintain 5S standards and other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Excellent written and oral communication, ability to effectively communicate to others; ability to demonstrate supportive relationships with peers, clients, and management; must be detail oriented, organized, and have ability to multi-task; ability to remain professional under high-stress situations; metric measurement aptitude; ability to be certified on forklift and similar equipment.
Experience preferred:
- 2 years of manufacturing/logistics experience
